Saving and downloading your work

Everything is saved for you already — downloading puts a full-quality copy on your device.

Everything you make is saved to your Library automatically. Download when you want a copy on your own computer or phone.

Download a creation

    Open Library and find the creation.
  2. 2
    Press ↓ on its card. The file downloads straight away.

For a picture or video you can also click the card. It opens full size in a new tab, with ↓ Download at the top. Voiceovers and music download from the ↓ on their card.

File names

The file is named after the creation, in lowercase with dashes, followed by its number — for example hero-shot-v2-1234.png. A creation is named automatically from the first words of your prompt. To choose the name yourself, press ✎ on its card first: that’s Save as. Name your keepers before you download and the files arrive ready to sort.

Quality

You get the original file the model made, in the format it made it — usually PNG, JPG or WebP for pictures, MP4 for video, and MP3 or WAV for audio. The Library grid shows smaller previews; the download is always the full file. For print or a hero image, try an upscale before you download.

Films from Render film

A finished film is saved to your Library like everything else, named after its flow or recipe, so you download it from its card with ↓. Right after it renders, Open / download MP4 in the Render film window works too.

One file at a time

Each ↓ downloads one file. There’s no way to download a whole collection or a selection at once yet.

If a download fails

The message “The file is no longer available from the provider.” means solorender couldn’t fetch the original from where it’s stored. Try again in a minute. If it keeps happening, email support@solorender.com with the creation’s name.
