✨ New: H3 Max ReframeTry it

Vertical video converter

Turn a wide 16:9 video into a 9:16 vertical one for Shorts, Reels and TikTok. Faces stay in frame, every cut lands on time. Nothing redrawn, no credits used.

Make vertical in 42 seconds: upload a wide video, check the shots, make it tall. Press play for sound.

A wide video squeezed onto a phone ends up tiny, with black or blurred bars above and below. Make vertical fills the whole phone screen instead: a tall frame moves over your original picture and follows the people in it.

It finds every cut and every face. In each shot the frame holds still on the person, switches exactly on the cut, and glides only when it has to, like when two people won't fit side by side. Nothing is redrawn by AI, and the sound and length stay the same.

How it works

  1. 1Open a wide clip from your Library or the Studio, export one from the Video editor, or upload your own video (up to 5 minutes).
  2. 2Press Make vertical, then check the shots: drag a box to move what the phone sees.
  3. 3Press Make the tall video. The 1080×1920 copy is checked frame by frame and saved to your Library.

Questions

Does it cost credits?

No. It comes with the Studio, Max and Super Max plans, and your own computer makes the tall copy, so no credits are used. It's saved to your Library and counts toward your storage like any other video.

Can I use my own video?

Yes. In your Library press Upload video and pick an MP4 or MOV up to 5 minutes long. If it's wide, Make vertical opens right away.

Does it change or redraw my video?

No. Every frame is your original picture, cut to a tall shape and enlarged to 1080×1920. The sound is copied across untouched.

What if two people are in the shot?

If they fit together, both stay in. If not, it stays on the one who is talking, or glides from one to the other when nobody is. You can move any shot's frame by dragging it before the video is made.

Which browsers work?

Chrome, Edge and Safari 26 or newer, on a computer. Keep the tab open while it works.
