How to make an AI ad in Flow
“The Pitch” is a 35-second comedy ad: a teenager pitches a hamster heist movie to three studio bosses. Every picture, voice and clip in it was made in solorender, and the heart of it lives on one Flow canvas. Watch it built, click by click.

What the video shows
- 1One canvas, two rows. The boardroom on top: the pictures, the voices and the talking shots. Milo's trailer below: the heist. Each box holds a picture or makes one thing, and the wires carry each result into the next box.
- 2A talking shot. A Voice box with Gemini 3.8 Voice speaks the line, with the voice and the way it's said picked in the box. A Talk box with OmniHuman takes the picture and the voice and makes the boss shout it.
- 3Fix the picture, then animate it. The first laser picture had a beam hitting the hamster. An Edit box moved the beams, which costs less than half the price of redoing a clip. Then Grok Video 1.5 Lite animated the fixed picture, with sound.
- 4The rest of the heist. Start a jump from a picture with both wheels on the desk; a picture caught mid-jump just hangs in the air. Make a close-up from a character's own picture, so the sleeve and the ring match.
- 5Finish it, if you like. Every clip is already in your Library. Open in video editor puts them on the timeline in reading order, row by row. Add your music and an end card, then export.
What it cost
The wide version took 68 runs, retakes included: 1,959 credits, about $17.60 at Studio plan prices.
What was done outside solorender
The finished ad was cut and mixed outside solorender, with a few extra touches: the title playing inside the laptop, the animated end card, the bouncing captions, the speed-up on the bike and a deeper trailer voice. Everything else, every picture, voice, clip and the music, was made in solorender.
Build your own
